There,
My Name is Lori Carr and I have been breeding Angelfish for almost 5 years
now. Recently I became the Vice President of The Angelfish Society!!!
Hopefully over the next 2 years in office I will learn even more to share
with all of you! Check out their website by using the link at the top of

calculator you may down load on joining that will help so much with the
genetics of the angelfish.
Let me tell you about how this all began. For years my family and now
myself have kept angelfish. For as long as I can remember I have loved them,
The big Black Veils with a Lace Pattern. I have spent a lot of time
looking for these particular angels. Finally after several years I was
lucky enough to find a few of them. I had 3 that got to be pretty darn
big, and one day thought I need a few plecos to add to my tank. Well won't
you know I didn't know a thing about a serious virus that would kill
angelfish rather quickly, and that I should have quarantined before adding
anything to their tank. Well I am not sure what really was the problem but
after some time I think the angelfish virus took their lives within a few
days they all died. It took me 4 years to find any that were like them.
And when I did one of the local pet store owners jokingly told me I ought
to see if I could get a pair out of the ones I bought and breed them, that
our town really needed a good Angelfish breeder. Well wouldn't you know
that is just what happened. I got a beautiful pair out of them and when I
called him he was at a loss for words and said he was just kidding that
they were very hard to raise and I probably couldn't do it. That was all
the inspiration I need. I set up shop and the next thing you know I had a
good hatch of eggs going. With the help of an old angelfish breeder and
those good people that have their websites on the internet I was able to
successfully raise my very first hatch. The rest is history. I now have
several breeding pairs and usually around 3000 Angels growing out on a
regular basis.
This all started as a hobby, and now I have a small wonderful business. I
have 9 pet shops that I supply with Beautiful Angels!! And a host of good
friends that have taken on the hobby of owning an Angelfish tank too.
This is my first opportunity to have a website so please bare with me as I
will be adding new things from time to time.
